Their ssl channel strip is one of the most dps power hungry plugins. It probably uses a bit more cpu than their massive passive.

I used 38 instances of SSL 4k E, barely 14% CPU. Well done UA! And it is objectively the most beautiful SSL E. The sound is simply divine.

 

Confirmed, surprisingly it is very light on CPU. A really pleasant surprise, you can use this massively on mixing stage

this is not new protection. they release product that use this protection very often so it is not related to the possible GONG.

 

I don't think it's possible to crack UAD. This might pave the way for dozens more, but I think there's still a way to go. Of course, they might have cracked a few, but I'm not sure if they'll put in the same effort for each one. We've understood by now that cracking a single plugin, even if it's iLok3, isn't too difficult for R2R, though not necessarily for others.

I believe there's still a long way to go for all of them.

 

It's an old NFO. This one has been cracked back in February and nothing interesting was released.

I would say "They use protection from same company" not the same protection.
First of non other than Team R2R really know why they do not release other plugins but for your question ilok is a very versatile protection: pace warper(warp warden v2&3), fusion, eden, whitebox also many bigger software company tend to use meta fortress as their protection which as far as i know R2R is the first Team to crack meta fortress (non of the ilok releases by AudioUtopia even protools 12.5 were using meta fortress), but Team R2R did not release anything that use pace warper v3 (protools 12.5 did use this and now probably many more company use this) which in my opinion is their choice not that they cant.

So if someone buys it and passes it on to R2R including their registration key or something similar, there is a chance that they will release it.

You got the Make Believe Protection plugins, and the Zynaptiq plugins you got yesterday are about $1000. Then some Accentize. All in one day.
How "Safari Pedals" ended up released the same day with those plugins? We may never know.
