Since R2R seem not continuing their works on some apps like Toontrack so V.R might be alternative. However, I've heard that V.R's work is not good for system or registry. Is that true?

That's a bit too black and white. V.R is a good team and a lot of things work well and safely.

R2R has a bit more expertise, though. Sometimes R2R also writes V.R uninstallation routines and also says why. Always check the enclosed NFO/text.

The advice is to always stick to one team and don't mix teams V.R with R2R or R2R with V.R, as this will lead to complications and errors.

Uninstall everything completely if possible - clean the registry with the free Ccleaner, for example - restart the PC and install according to the instructions or the enclosed NFO.

I was wondering about that. There are probably several possibilities, two come to mind:

    a. Division of labor, reducing the work by 2 teams
    b. V.R is doing its job right and R2R doesn't need to correct anything

VR doesnt harm system, but sometimes things are not proper resolved with the way how patches things. this could potential lead to instability, but it doesnt have to.

One example: Roland stuff was quickly released by VR, it worked fine, but you had a delay upon opening the plugins. (i was really happy these very released finally and i even used them, but the delay). What caused the delay, was the plugin was continuously calling the the roland servers still - without reaching them, so the plugin waited for that, after a bit of time, the point was reached, where the plugin had figured out it was authorized (it was, but it took some time). R2R acknowledged that in the NFO i think and resolved it for their release, but it took some time.
The point is, R2R doesnt call out other teams, they just giving out advice.
I am happy for VR being there, bcs as you notice does his fair share of great releases, but im a bit sceptical aswell using something VR. But sometimes you have no choice, till R2R gets around or really gives it a try due to time constraints or other challenges.

R2R is to long doing this to release things they are not 100% happy with - and ofc they also like doing challenges and it can be very tedious to release the same stuff over and over, you can automate a lot of things, but you still need a bit of manual on finishing a release.

I beleive this advice - Don't mix releases from different teams refers to within applications/programs. Like don't try to mix various elements of Arturia programs from various release groups, etc.

I've used altered softwares from various sources together, but its like a cracked daw from "xyz" and a cracked plugin from "ABC", or a cracked version of Office from XYZ and a cracked DAW from LMNO group. wihout problems, but I try not install too many things I'll never use and thats another story altogether...
