I guess thats the time of the another wave of releases but i might be wrong

 

I wanted a wave of audio players like HQPlayer Desktop, HQPlayer Embedded OS, JRiver Media Center, Audirvana, PGGB ...

 

let's hope there will be one next month like usual, our Xmas (that comes early) or what others call Black Friday

 

Since Wibu-Waifu R2R contained licenses of new Auto-Tunes, I was hoping we could finally get a proper version of Antares from R2R. Unfortunately, that won't be the case once again, but that's okay, we still got Synchro Arts.

 

No telling what they have in store for Black Friday.

 

I don't think we'll see much. Sequoia was the Big Thing this year. Probably we won't see any new iloks until 2025, maybe they'll release some updates. I was also hoping for Antares, since the Waifu had those licenses, but I'm afraid the spot is gone. Maybe some Acusticas would be very welcome. But I don't think anything extraordinary will happen this season. We'll see in 2025 imo. Thanks R2R as always

 

The Big Gong is coming the day after tomorrow for us UAD Spark users, The Signature Bundle V2 will be released. In UAD forums we are expecting big players that will go native. I'm really curious to see the next ports.

 

Last year was HUGE, the real Big Wave. Distressor, Manley, Capitol Chambers, Avalon, Sound City. The most wanted all together. We'll see this year. It will be released on October 8th

 

All I know is being poor sucks .. if it wasn't for the teams I would legit have NOTHING to look forward too.. I just hope they know they are really doing the lords work for giving some of us common folks a little light at the end of the dark tunnel ..

 

Yes it' true, that's why Teams are revered as part of the family. They simply make the world a little fairer, and bring so much happiness to those who perhaps have no reason to be happy in real life, or who are going through a bad time. However, let's be honest: they only give the illusion that you can compete with the big producers and engineers. Because in reality to make a career you can have 500K plugins from R2R, but in any case you will not be able to sew a decent song and work in the industry. Because starting a career in music requires much more, plugins are only a negligible part of the whole.

Luckily I got my annual subscription weeks ago at 99 bucks. I think Spark has become indispensable if you work in audio on a regular basis

 

A quick question, I have never used the uad plugins before.
Are they very CPU intensive like the acustica audio CPU eaters ?

 

They are generally light on CPU and almost 0 latency (1.82 usually). Of these 1176, Teletronix, Lexicon, Pultec, Manley and Neve you can have hundreds on your session. No comparison with Acustica, which weighs a lot on CPU. Also UADx plugins are very optimized. In short, you can use them in large number without particular issues on CPU. Only Sound City Studios weighs more, about 18% on CPU.
