Honestly, this DBX166 and Drawmer241 give me so much and are easy to operate. Plugin wise, FirComp is fabulous for everything. Don't need anything else. The only thing I'm kinda missing is more different high quality reverbs. Synths and samplers are more than covered. Hate Native inst... shitty company full of shit. Don't need any NI crap. U-he, TAL, Audio Damage + various other xperimental synths and samplers are more than enough to make anything you want.

I hope you get what you want, and make music, and stop bitching about the new releases.

What is exciting, though, is the defeating of all the different and stupid protections. Love that R2R whitches!

Have you tried the Exponential Audio Reverbs?

 

I want to see the really exotic things. The ones that are hard to get because hardly anyone uses them: Auro-3D Creative Tools Suite, Dolby Atmos Mastering Suite, the latest versions of DEE or DME, VIENNA MIR Pro 3D, etc. But it's probably not worth the effort if only three people are going to use it.

 

and nobody has the sound system to play it back. its just like the Kolorama Super Stereo System by Motorola that used lasers to excite atmospheric molecules into producing sound and colour simultanesouly. A truly inspiring musical vision, however the Vst's kept misfiring causing drapery fires in private homes and several pets caught fire as well.

Sometimes quantum leaps in technology, while they may seem "kewl" and "hip/hep" are just sparkly things that cause pain like diamond cactuses we accidentally sit on after indulging in pyshcoKoktails at soirees we should have skipped and continued working at the studio instead of hanging out with zeros not heros.

They use iLok as their protection probably not even the really hard one's but R2R needs their retail installer to do their magic so i guess it is lack of supply problem.

 

From what I can see, you can download all of the installers on the website.

 

Those are trial installer not the retail installer just like Joey Sturgis Tones plugins.

 

Dolby Atmos is well established. You can argue about the point of Auro-3D, but there are enough people who are interested in it. If the interests of the majority were the only deciding factor, there would be no opera, no jazz, and no Gorgonzola.

What is so special about the plug-ins? Every time there is a request for Soundtoys, everyone goes crazy and votes until the weekly charts glow. Are the plug-ins really that good, or is it just that Soundtoys has never been cracked?

 

They're good, and special but people just want to see these k'd even if they end up unused in their session, me personally i don't want it just for sake of seeing it being k'd but because the last AU version doesn't have AAX because i use PT (TransVST and Patchwork not the most reliable option for me), and that's why i ended up buying few

This is the link to one of the trials if you notice it is in trial channel of their products all of their downloadable installer are from this channel. I personally did not install trials but i notice a size difference between trial and retail installer on some of their product with same version.

We currently don't have a proper release of Soundtoys, because the old releases including the latest cracked one by AudioUTOPiA from almost a decade, have a severe issue with timing (or tempo-syncing). This applies to time-based effects like Echoboy, Tremolator or Pan-Man. It's an issue with the plugins themselves, not with the crack, which has only been fixed in a later update by Soundtoys in 2018.
The affected plugins lose their sync to the DAWs tempo, this is reproducible, and leads to unpredictable results: you play a section again and again, expecting it to sound the same each time (with enabled sync), but each time it sounds slightly or completely different, depending on your settings.
As stated by someone, sometimes opening the plugin GUI fixes the problem.
In short, we don't wave really a release of Soundtoys. A correct and proper one. Luckily on BF they can be purchased at a big discount.
