moving on and back to the original topic, does R2R mentioned or hinted about Sequoia 17 being the biggest release this year and the Gong finally ended. I know they didn't mention about there exist another phase or another release soon. We can probably guess the rest of the Wibu/Waifu supported plugins will come but nothing certain about it. As for Antares, we enjoyed the privilege of getting to try the plugin as early as the 2nd day of release, thanks to V.R. Although R2R maybe would've release it anyway, maybe a more efficient fully unpacked version. So, what now ?

R2R mentioned that they will be not stopping the brewing of potions and casting spells. So i am having hope for another big release. As mentioned by witches they kept so many goodies hidden unless they feel like releasing them, So i guess we need to wait a few couple of days more to finally end gong

 

I'm afraid it's over. The first phase of Gong was Cryptlex (SynchroArts as flagship Wibu+ilok), and the screaming Kong defeated seems to be the second (Sequoia as flagship Wibu). I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect it is. My big hope is an Antares release. It would be a dream, a proper R2R Antares. For ilok instead I have lost hope, I don't think we will have anything new in the near future (considering that there is no new big ilok company since 2021)

Anyway, it's funny that we're in the middle of a R2R Gong, and on sister site the release that is climbing the ranks and will soon take the top on weekly top is the Uncracked Soundtoys Bundle.

R2R has already defeated the entire ilok line, a long time ago. They're just all in the internal vault for technical reasons. Maybe they'll release something one day, who knows

 

Got the same feeling from Nuendo and Pyramix, mixing in aggregate was somehow easier.
Maybe because i just could mix and not do any real production, because it was so unfamiliar.
i Think Pyramix is a lot lot like Sadie, once you got HW & SW working seamless together
you get really quick with it.

just a rumour, overheard in the back rooom at GuitarCenter, but The Gong is going to be the cracking of Reality, with this hack you will be able to go back and correct notes in real time after they are played due to a quantum loop hack that R2R had noticed when cracking CakewalkPro many years ago. This will be especially helpful for live performance and may also help to be able to re-eat the same pizza, if you really enjoyed it, they are still tweaking this function as something is making the toppings change on each re-eating loop.

They had been working on being able to redrink your last alcoholic beverage, but the hangover doubled with each loop, causing cerebral hemoraging so that ones been crossed off the planned feature list.

Thanks to the magic of R2R, Sequoia 17 can now handle Dolby Atmos natively. At least in theory. It seems to have everything you need: ADM tool, internal Dolby Atmos renderer, etc. However, it doesn't work for me. The Atmos renderer does not load. Unfortunately, there are no instructions for all the "hidden features". So the only way is "trial and error". In general, these "beta features" seem to be quite rudimentary. Nothing like the Atmos integration in Nuendo, for example. I can hardly believe that these are supposed to be new features. It looks more like a patch job from 2016. No wonder they're hiding it from normal users.

Still, I want to get Atmos working with Sequoia. The MPEG-H plugin work. So Atmos should work too ...
