Pink Floyd are underrated by young people who don't know better and by older people who should know better.

The Title of the article claiming bodycound made pink floyd relevant again is laughable to say the least.
horrible cover. As if we didn't remeber the fuckup of a cover they did of hey joe back in the day.
And they go on the article to compliment the wonderful and profund lyrics of Ice-T that reads at some point

"You've got a TV, a computer, so you don't care. A roof, some clothes, some food. That's right, it's all there
Lock yourself in your house, try to forget about The millions dyin' from wars, starvation and drought
You've got your own problems - yes, we all do Nobody is free from stress, not him, or me, or you"

seriously man... if you're going to sell this idea that rap is about the word and the verb, put some effort into it. read a freaking book before attempting this poor excuse of a lyric. if you're scatting adlib in a live venue or in a battle of words if you will, I can see that nothing better would come up in such a short notice, but if you're about to touch an untouchable song, better step up your game man. this looks like some poor teenage angst written in the back of a napkin whilst waiting for the bus - and probalby didn't show it to anybody before recording. much less Roger.
The only thing mildly making this cover relevant is Dave playing guitar in it (although this type of his guitar playing is not my favourite of his body of work and yes I am a Pink Floyd Fan, except maybe for their latter post-roger work).

this cover does not reflect pink floyd's body of work at all. it's an absolute joke and in a certain sense, insulting to the original. only thing positive that can come out of this cover is younger kids wanting, as a joke, to see how bad pink floyd are because of this and actually finding out they do have tremendous albums. mr Ice-t is a real bad lyricist and an even worse vocalist. i don't believe a single word he sings.

That Body Count video/horror/waste nightmare is really, really, really bad and totally sucks ..objectively speaking. Pink Floyd was a great band, David Gilmore is a great musician and I'd love to have a pint with him and ask him who talked him into contributing to this mistake of a song. I just don't get it.

going to see Gilmour in November and if I hear, 'and now would you please welcome to the stage... ICE-..', I will have started an actual riot before the sentence is finished (half-joking)

This was fun, worked like a charm, maybe due to the fact that it was not meant to be taken seriously and the bands won't be the subject in the future of music and art in the 20th century by historians. It was a romp!
