Announcing Audioz-Utils

Batch downloading, post hiding, etc. for AudioZ.
- The batch downloading feature allows fetching the host links for the posts on the current page. It requires granting permission to fetch Peeplink.
- Post hiding allows users to hide the posts on the current page based on certain categories or keywords.
All the lists are comma-separated. By default, the posts under the samples/loop category are moved to this list. Add your filter categories/texts to the list separated by a comma to edit the default behaviour.

You need to install this script:

audioz-utils (greasyfork.org)

If you already don't, grab the required browser extension for running the script from here, and then install the above script:

• Chrome: Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey
• Firefox: Greasemonkey, Tampermonkey, or Violentmonkey
• Safari: Tampermonkey or Userscripts
• Microsoft Edge: Tampermonkey
• Opera: Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey
• Maxthon: Violentmonkey
• Dolphin: Tampermonkey
• UC: Tampermonkey

If you really want, replace `article` in the above function with `li` and then you can use it to filter the posts in AudioSex (save it in a separate file).

 

I updated the list of the categories in the above code. Now, all the loop posts are filtered out.

but! by adding software/mac/ to list it removes also windows posts if it tagged both Mac and Win.

That's how AZ organizes the posts, so we can't do much here. I suggest you not use that filter as the number of Mac-only posts is usually very low.

Should it be replaced with older version or installed over it? BTW I don’t remember how I installed the first one.

Hi @metaller, I noticed a strange behaviour today.

Today's "Tone Empire Black Q v3.0.0 Incl Patched and Emulator-R2R" release gets filtered for some reason, even though it's not in "samples/loop" folder and it doesn't include "REQ" in the title.

Changing "REQ" to "REQ:" does the job, so it could potentially be used as an easy fix.

Hey Metaller — I like it!
At first I thought it was a bit unwieldy having a big list before any of the posts and was thinking 'who downloads everything?' but when I started filtering, it makes a lot more sense. I just put some of my favourite teams and uploaders in the 'selected words' and bingo - very cool feature being able to grab those links from the main page.
The only thing I would like to see — and this is not a request as such, I'm not expecting you necessarily try and implement it, just some feedback for how I use the site — I like to hit the thanks button for the stuff I download so would like to see a button in the "download links" window, say next to the 'Remove link' button, that would be awesome. Again, can live without it and not sure how hard it would be or if it's even worth your time to try it, just my 10c from trying out your script.

Thanks for the feedback. Just pushed an update to allow disabling it via a checkbox.



Regarding the thanks button, I don't think it is easy since this script downloads the pages in a headless way and doesn't load the page in the browser (so that you can click on the Thanks button).

Sorry for a dumb question: After installing the script executes on AZ main page. But where do I invoke the settings window?

 

You're welcome. The settings will be shown on the left bar at the bottom. The script is active on all the pages.
