    Greetings all,
I figured I'd make this post to help everyone have the most up to date Guitar Rig 5 working with all the expansions.(Thought about making an all in one file download thing on Audioz, then I read the rules so...) This all started a few days ago when Demon posted those awesome presets. Then I realized my Guitar Rig 5 was outdated, got the latest update and poked around online and first found that generally Guitar Rig 5 is installed with Rammfire,Reflektor, and Traktors 12 installed,so I found those updates, ran them and there they were.

Then I found a pic online with other tabs listed

I was like huh? Gotta have it. :snuffy:

So,I installed all those updates(Awesome thing with Native Instruments updates is most times you don't need them installed previously if you run that inst reg file first) And they all worked as Vsts but still the same as before. No Solid mix series,No Vintage Compressors,No Transient Master :dunno:

So after some time and searching and all of it not working,I thought well,it's a wrap, then I got to reading some more, found this post Big Thanks Transporter 1333
And remembered seeing that file in the Guitar Rig update installers folder,So I ran it and ALAS! :dancing:

So... Here's what I installed (Well obviously the Native.Instruments.Guitar.Rig.5.Pro.v5.2.0.Update first and foremost)

    Then...

    The first 3 I mentioned

    Native.Instruments.Rammfire.v2.0.0.Update
    Native.Instruments.Reflektor.v2.0.0.Update
    Native.Instruments.Traktors.12.v2.0.0.Update

    And these for everything else

Native.Instruments.Enhanced.EQ.v1.1.1.Update(May not be necassary, not sure but installed anyway,I installed all the NI fx plugins)
Native.Instruments.Guitar.Rig.Factory.Selection.Maschine.WIN(Not sure if it was needed but installed it anyway)
Native.Instruments.Passive.EQ.v1.1.1.Update((May not be necassary, not sure but installed anyway,I installed all the NI fx plugins)
    Native.Instruments.Solid.Bus.Comp.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.Solid.Dynamics.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.Solid.EQ.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.Transient.Master.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.Vari.Comp.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.VC.2A.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.VC.76.v1.1.1.Update
    Native.Instruments.VC.160.v1.1.1.Update

Like I said a few listed I don't think are necessary(I'm pretty sure the Enhanced eq and Passive eq aren't),but I installed every update for every fx plugin listed on their site Native Instruments site Komplete FX

After all of those updates have been installed, open up the folder you extracted the Native.Instruments.Guitar.Rig.5.Pro.v5.2.0.Update installer to and run NI_Reg_GR520Missing.exe

And there you go, open up Guitar Rig 5(it may take awhile to scan for presets it did on mine anyway)

    Hope this helps everyone. :mates:

Also big thanks to Transporter 1333 (Without your post it woulda taken me much longer to figure this out) and of course Demon for really sparking this up with those presets.Without your posts none of this woulda happened

[IMG] This is awesome, thanks so much for putting all this together for us. Not only is it incredibly useful it will probably save many of us from having to answer these questions. How can you put a price on that? You can't.[IMG]

Guitar Rig 5 is one of most complete App for guitar in the market today but is also a little complex to set up and use (comparing with other Apps). Not really a big deal but needs patience to get all advantage from its resources. *yes*

I'm glad to see your post Levitate. :mates:
    Thanks for share with us.

Isn't the thing that the _OLD_ versions of those solid-mix-series and such where required to be used in Guitar Rig as host.. but then (after much moaning :P) they changed it so they can run standalone.

So if you install the latest version now, you get standalone VST's because that's how they are built now. You're not supposed to get them in Guitar Rig because that are probably old versions :).

    Or am I misunderstanding something?

I'm not totally certain on that, you may be correct,if not completely,to some degree. Here's what it says in the Guitar Rig 5's installer info and also in Transporter 1333's post

    [Old Expansions]
Currently, some expansion updates are missing.
It's better to wait until updates supplied.
However, we made registration tool for our old release.
Install old expansions and run "NI_Reg_GR520Missing.exe".

    It activates :
Solid Bus Comp, Solid Dynamics, Solid EQ
Transient Master, VC 2A, VC 76, VC 160

Most of those product updates are availble for VST/RTAS version.
    Native.Instruments.Solid.Bus.Comp.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
    Native.Instruments.Solid.Dynamics.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
    Native.Instruments.Solid.EQ.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
    Native.Instruments.Transient.Master.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
    Native.Instruments.VC.2A.v1.1.0.Update-R2R
    Native.Instruments.VC.160.v1.1.0.Update-R2R

You should run our RegTool only if you want to use them inside GuitarRig

With Native Instruments, "SELECT" or "SELECTION" is a smaller range of products to showcase the actual suite and usually comes with the feature-limited PLAYERS. Essentially, a very small portion of the whole.
Like Kontakt Factory Selection (650 MB/FREE) vs Kontakt Factory Library (43 GB/ $399)
Or Komplete Select (25 GB/$199) vs Komplete Ultimate (500 GB/$1,199)

@Pereira 3 years and 9 days later. Nice.

First: better later than never :guru:
Second: the answer is 3 years and 9 days later, my first question was 3 years and 9 days before.....I would like to catalog it under "kindness"
However, to reassure those who have paid great attention to this problem, I can ensure that during these three years I
had made my peace with it, really
