    Simple FM, to emulate a square wave. Bandpass around 90-ish Hz. Add some saturation. EQ boost narrow around 300-400 to enhance the honk/boxiness.

    There are different ways to create this "hollow bass" sound. Experiment and have fun! Happy accidents will happen!

    Distorted saw with emphasis on mid-range (parallel EQ or multiband distortion)
    This might be simple TR303 Acid type of sound with some EQ, Sylenth1 can replicate it easily
