usually AAX is patched, so it wont work with legit PT - thats for windows and macOS.

EDIT: one could use BlueCat Patchwork keygened or legit AAX plugin into PT and load the patched plugins into it. This will always work, no need for any AAX plugin version at all.

Changed Title, because old title was useless.

Are people still running the old version of 10? Is that the source of confusion about these? Why Patchwork is not an acceptable option? Does MB-7 from BlueCat as AAX also load VST3/AU format plugins? This always sounds like a very easy thing to workaround...

You're perfectly right about the use of bluecat. One of the thing is when I run it, I cant see plugs stored by manufacture or editor, or whatever you call it. When, in PT, I open waves, I have them all listed. I'd love to have the same with blueCat. Open the list of AA, or PA, or Arturia (that no longer work with Sonoma,...)

What do you mean, "no longer work with Sonoma"? I'll tell you this though, about channel strips and automating mixing effects. I almost never automate my EQ or compressors. I like to leave them static, and automate something much simpler in front of those in my channel strip or chain. If my concern was just Fabfilter, inside Patchwork; I would just load all 6 insert slots in Patchwork. Something like Pro-Q3->Saturn->Pro-C2->Pro-Q3->Pro-MB. Or something like that. If you want to change the order once in awhile, they would already be there in patchwork. You can just drag them around into a new insert sequence. But generally, I mix upward into something like that example; and then if I had to insert some MidiFX or a simple stock enveloper or EQ; I would just insert that plugin before the Patchwork instance and automate the simple plugins.

I would figure it out or I would buy Pro-Q3. Hoping someone else magically drops working full Fabfilter bundle is not a strategy.

    Hi Clone,
What I mean is, when I was on Catalina, I had few bundles working natively in Pro Tools (Waves 14, Arturia, Overloud,... ). I had to change macbook, now am on Sonoma, and some bundles do not work anymore (fresh install from 0).

My concern about BlueCat, is that you cant organize plugs by manufacturer. Not that I know anyway.

Oh, just the AAX is not working is probably because they were not tested to work on Sonoma specifically. So some work and some not, like everything else for the past few years. I would look for some other users running that same setup; but I only use Logic so I don't know of anyone offhand.

For Patchwork, I would figure out a workaround for that part. Example, let's say you are using AU .component plugins inside your Patchwork.
You could go into /plugins/components and put everything from each manufacturer into it's own folder. Or maybe you do groups like all EQs in a folder. If you do not want to put the actual plugin files inside folders; you could just make aliases for all the plugins, and then put the aliases into folders. Anything in it's own folder will show up right at the top of the window when you go to load plugins in Patchwork.

There is a program called AUganizer which is obviously an organizer for AU plugins. Maybe look into that. No-one else mentions this as a problem, so they have probably figured out *something*.

    Awesome I'll try that !!!
Thanks a lot @clone. I'll try your solutions in the coming days.
I've seen in sister site a new version of crossover. Imma try it, perhaps it'll solve problems with Overloud, Arturia and all the other sooooo good stufff.
Still, MORiA' AAX* is not solved yet
