First of all, I know this is purely subjective. Our taste in music changes as years go by.

Don't you get fed up with some genres that we are constantly being exposed to in presets, tutorials and sample packs? For me it's Trap.
I like Trap music as a product. My workout playlist has a lot of it.
but... especially around FL Studio communities, there's way too much of getting the nastiest 808, the craziest hat rolls , the grimiest intro melody with a rare flute.

Maybe Trap is marketed a lot towards newer producers? or it might be just me not digging the genre that much.

Jesus, this is something that I always think about, whenever I'm searching for gear reviews and plugin reviews it's always the same fucking annoying thing: crappy techno music and generic EDM type of pop music.

Trap and hip hop. I like both genres but for presets, tutorials and sample packs their the worst, so much bad entry level stuff on sister site.

Yeah I thought the same, but trap seems to be the most popular electronic genre too.

But EDM has really much bad sample packs, most of the construction kit stuff sounds really bad. These sample packs are kinda "For beginners, by beginners".

 

I kinda get bored of any remake of "Vangelis" that's basically that one sound in Blade Runner.
