Just found this one out, it applies saturation based on the dynamics. AFAIK Saturn 2 csn do that with a velocity modulator. What I don't know if Saturn 2 can do is to apply more saturation on the quieter parts of the signal. This thing does just that!

many DAWs have envelope followers that can be mapped to any parameter of any plugin that accomplish the same thing

I've done this for years with my own parallel chain of transient designer, filter/EQ and saturation/distortion (and even a gate/expander in there as well, pre-saturation). Good trick to add spice and "bring out more" of certain instruments. :like:

You can do that with Saturn 2, using the envelope modulation in negative mode (not sure if that's the proper name). Not as simple as this plugin, because you got way more option, but Saturn is not free

It can LOL, you just flip the modulation polarity (the "±" button).

Yes, it's a great plugin. I also suggested to the developer to add an emphasis EQ that gets compensated for after the saturation stage.

About the inverted envelope thing: CableGuys Driveshaper (Shaperbox) module is another plugin I like to use for that purpose: leave the louds parts clean and focus the saturation on the quieter parts = basically preserving transients and focus the saturation on the "body" of the sound.
