Hi guys,

recently I got a newer Mac and had to re-authorize all my software and VSTs (most of which came from the sister site). I successfully authorized all o the EZX pack for EZDrummer2, but there's one EZX I could not authorize because it is not even listed in the drop-down menu of the keygen.

I have a lot of "work in progress" projects where I used this exact EZX, called "Dream Pop" ....so I obviously had it authorized on the old computer. I searched all my files and all I see is just one version of the keygen I have (R2R v4.0.1.) so I really cant understand how did I manage to authorize it back in the day, and cant seem to do it now.

I really hope someone here has the solution, or can point me in the right direction

 

Why not use EZ Drummer 3? It shows up in that!

 

I no longer have any installation files / keygens. Honestly, I am struggling to even remember how I installed it.

 

Damn...I can't figure out how I authorized it previously. The keygen is included with this EZX but it is the same keygen as for all the other EZXs, no Dream Pop on the list. .. I also searched to maybe find an updated version of this EZX, but the only version existing is 1.0 from 2016. That'S even more confusing, because I obvious have had authorized it somehow...

You mentioned EZD3 has it on the list, so if I download EZD3 I might have the chance, right?
But obviously I did authorize it previously without EZD3...so I'm really confused here

Maybe there's a way to somehow extract the authorization code from the old computer---but that again probably wouldn't work on the new one

 

It's one of those fiddly installations. That when you finally get it working, you leave well alone, and hope you never have to go through it again!


I wont update from win7 still and that is exactly one of the reasons why!

Dream Pop must have been added at a later date, in which case it would likely have had a key all on it's own. I usually remember all the installation details of everything, but there are one or two that caused a headache.. This was one of them.

 

For me, it was really not that tough to install all of the EZXs..... all I had to do is run the keygen on a windows machine and it all went pretty smoothly.

I guess my only hope is someone else who can help me reads this.

I linked it with SD3 and installed them at the same time. That was what caused the nightmare.. but It was worth it..


I'm certain there will be someone who can help!

 

From the comments under the post Toontrack EZX2 Dream Pop v1.0.0 HYBRID-R2R on sister it mentions requiring v2.14 of Toontrack EZDrummer2. I had already downloaded and if you open the k3ygen from that post it comes under:
Toontrack EZX2 Dream Pop (further down) ... notice the [EZX2].

Please note: Although it does say for MacOSX: Use pre-patched binaries provided with the release (whatever that means). That could possibly just be for the Main Drummer Software but there is a read me file there for Windows and Mac too. Good Luck!

Use Crossover for keygens on Mac. If you dual boot or VM Windows, you can do that; but it has to be on the same machine in many cases. Authorizations can use details gathered from the hardware to create the key. If you use another machine, those details will never match and the key will not work. The key will be created using the wrong data.

Just use Crossover. It works every single time.
