Hello guys

Creating a separate thread for live performances , which we can see the artist/band perform their songs.
(This comes as an expansion from the "What are you listening now?" thread)

A few examples of what i'd like to see here would be radio concert's, a person in her own living room or bedroom, or anything that you can see the artist perform.

The purpose of this thread is to keep things organized, while the other thread i can play the songs same time i'm doing something else, this one should require my eyes' attention.

Live performance videos are suspect in the digital age, they're often autotuned or worse. Even the good stuff - Pink Floyd's infamous Pulse concert that everybody reacts to on Youtube - is heavily studio produced, it didn't sound that way in the room (I've heard there are real recordings floating around but I haven't heard them).

Then there's all of the talent competitions on TV where they autotune the performances before they air. Or the 'live' concerts like the recent Olympic opening ceremony in which the only real live performance was the opening song, all the rest was either pre-recorded video or mimed.

My vote is for anything that was on The Old Grey Whistle Test, no matter how good or bad because they had the guts to actually perform live in front of cameras in a TV studio with no gimmicks.

Not to recommend anything in particular, but the NPR Tiny Desk (as lo-fi as the name suggests) and Rockpalast (all the way from 75 to now) performances I've seen have been among my favourites.
