how are the upper harmonics/distortion of this triangle wave at the zero amplitudes perfectly

    I was looking a wav file and noticed this waveform. I don't think i've ever seen this before, where the distortion is happening in the 0 ampltidue parts of the waveform. I was thinking of what could possibly make this. not fm or erosion type effect, maybe some am phase wizardry? i have no idea, please let me know
