I would like to sell my complete Toontrack account. Including EZ Keys and expansions, EZ Bass, EZ Drummer and expansions and also Superior Drummer with various expansions.
Plus lots of MIDI packs ...and much more
I've let myself be tempted again and again and just kept buying new stuff from TT, but I use it all far too rarely.
The whole package has a total value of almost $2600 (that's including the sale prices!!!).
I would want to sell it for $1000.

I am selling the complete account and will pass on the login details so that the buyer can change it to their details (email/name). That's how I did it back then, I got this account five years ago from the former manager of our old band - who also bought our software licences back then.
Selling an entire account is the only way to somehow avoid paying the transfer fees - 15 EUR per product (even the MIDI-Packs) is insane. In my case, that would be more than 900$ in transfer fees alone - so it's not worth selling at all.

I don't think Toontrack really likes that...
...but I also don't like their practice of not allowing me to resell my own stuff. I'm also not so sure whether this is even allowed under European or US law with the transfer fee. There were a few things about this at TT in their forum, but the outcry was too small, nobody took TT to court in the end.
I also have no desire and no money for court, but I would still like to get rid of this stuff somehow.

Hey you and welcome on forum....
Just few cents.... would be nice if you add some screens of the account with products.
Then ppl will know that is no scam or sth like that.

 

I have big image with everything included and also I can show the account, but I prefer to send images via DM. I don't want that TT is able to locate my account based on the screens.
So that's why I dont wrote an specific amount I own or which packs...
I was like an addict, buying more and more and more - so I think it's generelly hard to sell this one....

But I think the ones really interested in this big package will find the time to discuss / prepare everything needed to make this transfer. So I would prefer to talk to the one I sell this package to, a short Google Meeting would be ok. So I can show the package and whats included and we can talk about how we can make the deal / transfer safe for both sides.
I need to trust the buyer too as he can see all invoices ever payed and also the payment data. He also gets data from my machines where TT was installed if I cant remove it safely.

..or maybe to make it more trustful, it could send a short video (or meeting) showing the account to a more trusted user like I am. I understand it looks a bit scammy when a complete new user tries to sell sth like this...
As I look through some of the other offers I think there are many scammers here...but in most cases they sell the stuff for absurd low prices...
A package like mine would probaby cost 100....I'm trying to sell it for a realistic price based on the fact that even the oldest products never really got cheaper in all that years, so it's worth way more, but I think a fair price. I used some of the stuff often in the last few years, so for me it is ok to sell it for under the half of the worth...but I'm not going to give it away either, so I'd rather keep it.

 

Wise choice. The transfer fee they introduced a couple of years back is absolutely ridiculous. $15/€15/150SEK for each and every license transferred! Even if you want to sell a puny MIDI pack you still have to pay that license fee, and in your case just the fees would add up to $900-1000 (depending on how many products you have)! It was better back when each transferred license was made NFR after it had been sold, even though that in and of itself was pretty crappy.

TT is also one of those companies that seem to keep an eye on forums like this and sites like the sister site. Even though you've likely been one of their best customers they would probably ban your acc if they noticed that you were trying to sell the whole acc.
