Why to believe at all?

The world is complete. Are we? As human beings?
If so, why can`t we get it realized less bloody?

The earth is older then time, mankind just a swift rush.
If we create an impact, large enough to destroy it, what does it matter?
Nobody will be left, anyway. Really?

Greed, selfishness, the willingness to violence is dictating
the direction of our life`s. Ultimate exploitation of everything, even thoughts &
feelings.
Burning natural resources as if there were no tomorrow.
Profit as the overall value and self esteem as another compensation
without authenticity.
A monetary based economy. The access to resources controlled by
money. Products and their distribution in the hands of individuals.

Civilization?Culture? Abuse and negligence, it is in my view.
To judge that, keeps it going.

We try to solve problems with the same cognitive foundation,
that created these problems in the first.
How is that supposed to work out?

The only thing solving problems, is technology. Always was and will be.
Progress happens by leaving away what`s unnecessary.
(Think of planes & helicopters, how do the fly?)

Politics? Religion? obsolete I say.
It`s the 21. Century, the age of information, the "thing" that is moving
faster than light(in nature build systems).

We question the content of our beliefs, instead of belief itself.
What is belief? How does it work? Why do we depend on it?
Are we free not to believe? What does it need, to do so?

To share with expectation(s) is just another bargain.
We all "deal" with our minds, afraid of facing our fears and constantly choosing control.
Nobody is born with an ego, a mind in charge. That`s how we become.
In the first we are emotional beings. Before we can see/hear, we have felt, already.

The mind demands "addition", is bound to compare.
Rationality is a powerful tool and numbers are so teasingly efficient.
Easy to forget, they are only representation.
Everything we believe in, is build on assumption.
What do we know for sure? When do we know something is for real?
And is it objective, when we finally become aware about?

What makes a difference?

The food we eat, the clothes we wear, etc.
Most of all the way we treat ourselves. Everybody is somebody. No addition required.
To support natural self esteem, wherever we are, by cherishing what we are.

True change is unpredictable and always starts with a "less", not a "more".
Over seven billion people means increasing diversity...day by day.
All those wonderful concepts we made ourselves so comfortable in, will be
useless very soon.

We could have a peaceful life in equality, an evolving modern culture in
balance with the environment, where all products are available for free.
A resource management on the edge of time,that provides each and everyone
with everything necessery for maximum growth of individual & collective potential.
Production and distribution driven by need, managed by computers on a global
level. The resources, technology and network is there, already.
This has been addressed for decades by many.
And yes, this is approved by numbers, too.(GIYF)​

I must be honest with y'all. I was born in a very faithful orthodox family and all of my kind, my lineage, my ancestry, my grandpas, godfathers, etc. were priests or bishops and any other kind of church related... and i was learned since birth about Jesus, God, Saint Marie and other saints... i even read almost half of bible when i was 15 y.o. , going on church with my grandpas, i was like a VIP for the old people in these church and holy places due to my relatives... but believe me that it was not a cool thing for me .
Now i have 21 y.o. and guess what... i'm a atheist now... I became one due to the shit and all the bad things i faced in my growth jurney. I just learned naturally to believe only in courage, attitude and myself. I'm no more affraid about breaking rules which even if i was following them devoted... i still faced only huge suffering and loss...
So i made the conclusion by myself that the religions are more like a... fear cure and morale booster, lying yourself in the moments when you don't have choice... saying that "Oh.. well... i got God now... so i'm sure i'm fine" well.... when we actually don't....
My parents or other close people don't even know that i don't believe in God no more and i ain't gonna tell them, to avoid other scandals and shit...

I hope you don't hate me guys, for the fact that i was born in a family full of useless faith. We all know all the bloodshed provoked by religions... Some people just have to believe in something because they don't consider themselves strong enough to face the hard things, just through God... -_- They are like little puppies who wants to feel the sensation of being owned by a master/lord which will save them in the hard moments. Seriously... in the hard moments i rather do something even with my bare hands to change that situation instead of waiting whatever light from the sky to teleport me far away from that hard situation which will never happen...
We should say "Praised be OUR ACTIONS" instead of... well... Lord.
We have to face realtime reality.. instead of lying ourselves that somebody is watching for us... or at least... i won't believe in anything till i'll see A REAL FUCKIN' PROOF!

In my country, the Churches are a fuckin' BUSINESS. They made over 9000 churches and they still don't stop... They charge money for everything, you rarely see a priest helping a homeless guy, i saw some of them owning Dodge Charger, Maserati or other expensive cars. WTF!!!??
I don't say that it's wrong as a priest to own an expensive car... but still though... where's the fuckin' decency of a faithful man of God? I saw on TV even news like "sadomasochistic priest, crooks, etc." but the people are still brainwashed. I'll show you a video below about real "zombies".
Now they want to build a huge cathedral, some of them saying ONE OF THE BIGGGEST, or if not THE BIGGEST cathedral in all Europe. Oh, really????

Right... even if i don't keep too much connections with them anyway...

Maybe i went too far now... but i must admit that i hate all the bloodshed provoked by these kind of religions and anything related to martyric actions... I also find their actions exaggerated and wrong... and maybe my hate would sound similar to the racistic hate, but i actually have nothing against them personally, i would love anytime to help anyone no matter what religion or race he is... but i just hate this kind of "time wasting" and their behaving by hating anything which is not related to their god. For example, if i'd go in the middle of that kind of people and truthfully confessing that i'm atheist, they'd jump on me trying to fight me with the excuse that "i was not a God related guy". Is that normal? Do they have to fight honesty? That's what i don't like... so sorry for going too far in my latest post.

You right my friend... I expressed myself that way maybe because i was not natively an atheist and maybe that's why i did cared to answer regarding religions... because i was faithful in the past as well... but nothing saved me when i trully needed help... just myself... If i was a native atheist maybe i wouldn't care that much about this subject...

EDIT: And also if there wasn't so many religions, then all the people on earth would've been more united. That's what it hurts the most, the fact that these religions divide not only the people in general, but also their thoughts and mentality... If someting is good for some.. would be bad for others...

 

I have a problem to vote in this poll because there is no option that exposes my thought. I think the all World can change and must change if he wants to keep surviving.

The USA has the most idiots in the world.
So stupid to simply stand by and watch Wall Street KNOWINGLY fuck up the financial system.. KNOWING the government would give them billions of dollars AFTER they fucked it all up.
Stupid USA citizens goto Wal-Mart daily to buy crap Chinese built products. It is very difficult to find anything made in the USA anymore..
Why? Because they kept buying it, thinking they were saving a few dollars. Not realizing they were putting fellow USA citizens out of their jobs and giving them to the Chinese.

The real problem isn't the Chinese though, it's the corporate bastards that took production out of the USA and moved it to China so they could spend much less on labor, pocket more profit and still charge a similar amount for a product compared to a slightly better one made in the USA that fed USA families.

It's too late to change for the better for all mankind without a huge war.. my guess is eventually the people of the USA and other countries will eventually wakeup and realize they are enslaved by the people who run the banks.. then there will be a huge civil war.

After billions have died and we dig ourselves out of the rubble, THEN change for equality will happen, again, and the cycle will start over again.

For permanent change to happen.. to BREAK THE CYCLE, humans must evolve past the current state of species they are now and have been since the dawn of so called "Society".
We still are focused on the territorial. Which is the root of all greed.
We are no different than a dog that pisses on a fence each morning to mark it's territory.. and the dog that growls at you if you go near it's bone.

 

1. We can't change the world (Humanity), we can only change ourselves. Changing ourselves responsively changes the masses.

2..Change takes a long, long time. The history of humanity has shown that we always destroy our paper house after a certain time, and start from zero again, with the same foundations that we had when we destroyed the old paper house. So why should the future develop in a different direction?

3. A new foundation, in the form of a better human relationship between parents, and children, would cause change. The environment for this relationship has never ever been so bad, as it presently is, due to the political, and economical systems we live in.

4. The freedom of being an individual is not tolerated in our social systems. If we all can't be what we are, then the cogwheels will never run smoothly.

5. The planet (nature) can exist without us, but we can't exist without it. We don't honour the earth, the earth will not honour us, which brings me to point................

6. Would the earth really miss „Humanity"? We take ourselves so importantly. We are just visitors.
