I always felt there was a certain irony in Lou being backed up by basically the Bob Ezrin Super Band (Alice Cooper too really.) But it made for an excellent show.

I thought Pink Floyd was Ezrin's supergroup (along with the beach boys and misc. others) when they did the Wall, the album Roger couldn't finish as he'd painted himself into a mental corner and had to work a deal with the devil (Bob Ezrin) to get it on vinyl before everyone killed each other.

Were the vocals recorded in a cave in france somewhere ? thats one dodgy recording. Still better than the Velvet Underground though. Good to hear some Lou Reed, Transformer was a well produced album.

 

The danger with pyschedelics, is not so much the trip, but getting off the wrong exit and winding up forever lost.
