thats why cant watch majority of movies anymore ,old and new,so fckn dumb ,how the guy flew away and she just kept in place or these other storm scenes reminded me at a sort of star trek comedy live show for tourists in unversal studios in 1991 .

 

Reminded me of this classic:

 

Storms these we days are much more conscious and aware than they were even just a few decades ago and are akin and act like "natural superheroes" with human personalities, and, depending on their behavior, either good guys or bad. I read in Science magazine that they are attributing this grand change on the huge release of methane from the destruction of the Russian/German pipeline by some fellow on a yacht. In the scene you cited the twister must have been very attracted to the woman and so got rid of the guy to have her to itself.

And getting that out of the way, damn you for the spoiler as I haven't yet seen the film.
