I've hit that dip quite a few times, I'm somewhere between persist and fake it right now

 

I am between Lower Expectations and Dont Compare. That i have trouble with. So apprehensive about my personal releases that i dont release them and keep going over them (need to lower expectations and not compare). Strength isnt an issue here, persistence is hard when you compare though.

 

That's the same thing with me, I get caught up with how the track just does not bring the same energy that other ones do... Causing me to rage and go all hulk smash on my project

 

I read the part titled PERSIST




Then I had hoped the answer would be to simply roll them up and grab a lighter

 

I've strangely gotten away from the hulk smash and moved towards a more calm approach to making a track by considering it a puzzle that you have to paint the pieces yourself and put them together... But I sometimes revert to the deadly hulk smash and smash my desk in rage...

 

I have about 50 tracks that need to be finished, mostly have to work on clever song structure . I've been trying to finish this track here for years

" Don't compare ", yes it hurts and gaves me several times desire to give up .... when i hear those pro. progressive psytrance tracks....
