I'm doing mine in all diminished chords except the last and final will be augmented to end with a feeling of expansion. I guess that's the long and short of it.

 

What surprises me is why the members of this forum are not interested in fine art and show their inclination towards strange things. Things that aren't known from where they find.

I'm doing mine in D minor, which is the saddest of all the keys.

 

Forget about major, minor, augmented or even diminished. I'm just gonna use these sweet mahogany claves that I got for a couple of bucks at a used stuff store yesterday. It's not the clack but rather the space between the clacks that shall reveal the true soul of the Redon lithograph!

Some say"More cowbell" but I say, " Clave's the way!".

@FrankPig : i mean if you think so dude, i dont have the time to just sit here arguing about pitches, the tour bus doesnt have wifi and charging my phone takes forever

ill just say he definitely plays in alternate tunings though, Drop D, Drop C; and he plays chords that arent in key a lot. im not gonna tell you what you hear though, if you think its a minor key, its cool. i hear it in a major key and ive played and sung it in major keys a lot in my life; and its not off

Really cool, Juan! Nothing feels grounded, everything's disembodied, floating in a thick syrup, like jellyfish traveling at the will of the current...until suddenly everyone and everything begins floating as one upwards into a blue and beautiful sky, and now we're all happy and content.

(i'm somewhat jealous. i would like a Linnstrument hahaha!)

 

I played the song earlier today, Something In The Way, and it is definitely in a major key although it really sounds to be minor. I did it chording E to C major. I did a quick video showing it but my neighbor turned on his lawn mower literally at the same time as I hit record and I needed to leave a few minutes later to go sofa shopping.
