    Hi guys,
I'm wondering if you know if there's a VST synthesizer that have the Tripos (positive triangle) FM mode like Access Virus synths have.
I know that we have DSP56300 emulations and Viper but do you know if there are other vst synths that implement this particular FM mode?

Fm8, Massive X, PhasePlant, Serum, Tracktion F-em and every other somewhat extended FM capable synth out there

Unfortunately that is not the case: I'm talking about positive triangle FM mode in Virus which sounds different from other forms of FM synthesis implemented in the synths you mentioned like FM8 for example that is phase modulation.
Here you can read about differences about various FM synthesis implementations. Thanks anyway for your answer

You might grow your own with a wavetable synth, but I'm just spitballing here.

When using a triangle waveform as a modulator in FM, offsetting it by some DC amount will generate a sound with a frequency spectrum noticeably different from a pure triangle waveform.
Not sure if I've ever seen another Fm synth supporting that, except modulars of course.

If this picture is correct, then you could just use any synth with a wavetable editor (like Vital) and draw a triangle that doesn't cross the zero line.

sylenth1 use LFO with offset as FM source :)

most synths have an offset parameter to lift the negative part of the waveform in the positive range.

Maybe someone has the Arturia CZ1 installed? I could do without the extra bitmaps.

Thanks guys, as always, you're the best. I draw a positive triangle in Serum's WT editor and I immediately got the sound I was looking for.
EDIT: I have to experiment a little more because I can't exactly match the sound 100% but I guess that is just a matter of fine tuning the FM amount in Serum.
Next step will be finding a synth that has FM plus sync at the same time like Virus has but now I have to go to work.
    Thanks guys!

Phase Plant with the above mentioned custom no-zero-crossing triangle wavetable. Although sync in PhasePlant is no good, it truncates the wave cycle at sync creating unwanted harmonics.

Come on now, "unwanted"? Isn't this what hard sync is all about? I'm assuming of course that what Phase Plant does is indeed digital hard sync. It's great fun tuning the synced osc to particular frequencies, or sweeping the tuning for weird phasey-ringmodulatey sounds.

Its not hard sync, Phase Plant sync on the osc cycle leaving start and end points without phase adjustment. Here's what the manual says "Sync: Simulates oscillator sync by running the oscillator at a higher frequency, but resetting its phase back to zero at the normal frequency." Its actually easier to see than to describe. FaFilter Twin has a hard sync so you can compare visually and audibly. Phase Plant's sync is nasty.
