A little legal (where I live) hemp derived THC-a flower but not much because I don't want the lung related issues (I'm really susceptible to URI) and partially because for some reason that buzz gives me insomnia. I mainly stick to edibles for that reason, but sometimes the fast delivery system is desired vs. waiting a couple hours. I don't vape, I don't trust it.

 

Of course, they contain asthma!

 

I ended my 20 y.o. smoking habit this year, it has been 2 months. In order to reignite my music life and change my life mentally, i had to put my self out of my comfort zone. Although i had terrible nicotine attacks on the first week, now it is all gone now. I enjoy everything much more and can work more than an hour now. I did the same for other natural stuff 10 years ago and back then i was high all the time.

 

used to be a mid to heavy weight champ wanna be smoker. then kid came and stopped instantly. cold turkey with no reduction. first 5 days i could rip the head of anyone that came near me. then it mellowed. it's been 6 years since i had a cig. still love the smell and think about it almost everyday. didn't see any improvements on my health or voice whatsoever. won't even try one because i'm pretty sure I'd fucking love it. haha. only difference I feel from those happy days is that now when I cough i immediately think "oy, something is afoot". It's good not to have to smoke even when you have a nasty cold and now I don't have to convince my clients in the studio that it's a good time to have a cigarette break after a session of recording or mixing. but with that said I know I'll eventually get back. Just keeping the wolf from the door for now. Waiting for the right tragedy to fall upon me to get back on that sweet sweet horse. haha I hold no grudge towards it.

 

I smoked pot in high school and stopped for 40 years until the low power stuff came out, and all that time just one molecule up the nose from somewhere was all it took to remember exactly what it was like! That kind of odor sense memory is crazy. And I can barely smell.

 

find a low thc 70/30 hibrid , make high ratio of weed to tobaacco , do just 1 hit.edibles are far more dangourous when it comes to insomnia .you dont talk from og vaping ,you talk from chemical mix high temp shit vaping .thats not vaping .

 

weeed, as they told be when I was in amsterdam is the cure for insomnia. just a puff or two if you've got good shit and dreamland is right under your pillow. Never vaped, never plan to,unless I make my own carts and why would I bother doing that,when I have several perfectly good pipes and one-hitters?

I've smoked marijuana in the past, and probably still would here and there today (although prob prefer edibles now), but I never really smoked tobacco in my life, aside from a couple of very short term times (i.e. drunk at the bar) that led me to never want to smoke again.

Honestly with all the information out there, and how expensive it can be I don't get why young people today take up smoking of any form, outside of Marijuana (since there are benefits to that). Just seems kinda dense to me.. and following the crowd (which has never really been my thing). For the fairly young people here that smoke tobacco, I'm wondering why you do it, if you care to be honest and share!

if used with any discernment and moderation, it should never be harmful to the user. Few other pyscho-active compounds can make this claim.
Very much better than Alcohol which is essentially a poison and damages the liver and has many other negative health qualities.

Nicotine by itself is rather harmless, though very addictive, the tobacco its derived from is problematic. If I had a nicotine addiction problem, I'd chew the nicotine gum. The act of cigarette smoking becomes ritual, which the smoker structures their life around. I smoked cigarettes for around 5 years, it was the hardest thing to give up. But it was doable if you want to do it.

Sugar is a double edged sword, so easy to add to foods to make you crave them. Sugar is like porn for your taste buds...
