Perhaps someone can answer this for me. I'm looking to buy kick 2 presets from a vendor.
Will those presets work with a cracked version of Sonic Academy's Kick 2?

Yes, it's fine.
And they're supposed to go in the DLC folder.
I have Audiotent and others in my non-legit version.
If you want to believe I only got into audio yesterday, that's fine!
Wait for another comment to say the same as I did!

I have to say this here rather than in inbox...for others too.

I may have made a mistake...
The Audiotent presets don't actually work in my Kick 2.
But loads of others do. So I'm confused.
So this may mean that cracked Kick 2 and purchased preset packs don't work together !!! But I don't really know.
@ironmother I may have to give you that $6.49 ! I'm sorry if the presets don't work for you.

 

@F.L.O.W. I have had the same issue with a few expansion packs. Some come with installers, and some do not. I have had better luck with the Mac installers than just the archive of loose files you sometimes get. some work and some do not, and I cannot tell any real difference between the packs which causes it.

Nicky.Romero.Edition-TZGROUP is probably my favorite one for house/techno kicks and the old scene release does work. The Legacy kicks are really easy to work with and bang.

 

Just wanted to give everyone an update - the pack worked fine! woot. all is well. :D

 

Hey. I know this is an old topic, but I have a question regarding Kick 2 presets on the sister site. Are those installers the same that Sonic Academy provides? Or are they "fixed" and uploaded afterwards? I'm interested in the new official expansions (vol 13-16) that are not on the sister site yet. Will they work with non-legit Kick 2 plugin if I buy them?
