The title is a bit misleading.
LABS is still free with more free packs coming out, but now there's also LABS+, which is subscription-based.

 

They changed Lab plugin UI, it’s hard to locate existing packs and everything now is about subscription, then i deleted it..

and, the description packs are actually simplified version of spitfire libraries

Looks like Christian was the one who was keeping them from cash-grabbing. Hopefully Crow Hill succeeds.

 

What a shame he's a massive bellend.

 

Christian is the OG enabler behind Spitfire's unacceptably shoddy programming, a tradition which he's carried over to his new company.

 

It was a question of time, even till now i was surprised that they didn´t let the "thing" as free as it was during so much time....

So, I´m not very excited today....

 

Not only that, they now have made it so that it's not only during install but " LABS can only be used with an active internet connection"

Like, this is really a bad change. I've uninstalled it and will not encourage Spitfire Labs anymore.
