Thanks Sapriisty and thank you all guys, Reaper is really a fantastic piece of software.. You can emulate "emulations" with it... amazing. I wonder if you can emulate other DAWs with Reaper?
Maybe one day engineers will use Pro Tools inside reaper? Who knows

The problem is, the plugin saturation works with the high end and there's no OS. You can barely hear what it is doing so unlikely to hear all those aliasing as well I guess.

 

So does anyone have a legit version of Phoenix and could they do a review of the A/B settings with the script in ReaJS provided by TDR?

I will be very curious to hear and see the differences between aliasing and the artifacts that will be created at different sampling rates, by the way what do you think of this?

Would love to see this against the Nebula Nevermore Magnetics Guantam. I use it to glue my mixes and I love it. Costs 50 dollars; but you have to use Nebula.

 

I did a test and they sounded almost identical to my ears. So, if you are a Nebula user, Quantam is the way to go.

 

I would probably pay 100-150 for this, but almost 500? Also, are you sure I need a dongle? I can't seem to find reliable infos on this.

i found something interesting:

After doing some analysis, it appears that this plugin actively reads the fundamental frequency of the signal and adds musical harmonics to it. This is a known effect of analog tape saturation, yet most "tape emulation" plugins just distort the signal (adding non-musical saturation, i.e., harmonics that aren't related the fundamental frequency).

What do people here think of this, with more physics knowledge than me?

No idea... but you can play games in Reaper.
Snake and Tetris are natively playable, even with couch co-op. And via ReaPack there are various other games, such as a Wolfenstein clone.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a clone of The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall in Reaper

Totally agree, I have been looking for a long time for an alternative to tools like McDSP's AC-1 or even an Inflator and well the king TDR does it for us in JSFX format overall I found them all very interesting, I I have a little more difficulty with the RS1234 emulation of the softube compressor but I think I'm not using it in the right way, on the other hand the LA2A is monstrous

 

I had a dream where Danie & Foster had a band and processed all the notes through Phoenix plugin.
