Dope track, fresh, decision on distortion are yours so as far as mixing goes, it sounds interesting on a small speaker. Have you considered stretching the end or it has to fit the album like this?

i dont like the song but i really like the acoustic drum sound; idk if thats a sample or what, but whoever recorded those drums, they sound great. also a very dynamic arrangement, not really any issues with the mix imo in my treated home studio with great speakers; especially for experimental & abstract hip-hop

the vocals tone is awful though, its like very derivative of Danny Brown in delivery, but a lot more annoying and lacking his lyrical personality and charisma as a performer. the tone of the sung vocals is a bit better - but that refrain and the lyrics throughout arent interesting or provoking in anyway, matched with that vocal tone....the vocalist really holds the potential of this back, (sorry if thats you, not trying to be an asshole) - tone is so important with vocals and one of the main things listeners connect with. the vocalist just doesnt have it in regards to the more punk delivery, which cant be helped honestly, especially if thats what the artist wants, is what it is

drum sound and performance are killer though; and good luck with your project

Thanks man! I could stretch the ending (I assume the loud part, not the guitar+my kids making pancakes lol), but part of this project is the idea of switching fast between different parts and cutting of verses/chorusses. Sometimes things could be longer songwriting-wise, but I just want to continue on to the next!

I love how you didn't like the song but took the trouble to critically comment, thank you for that!

For the moment it is all me singing & rapping, don't be sorry :) but my dream would def be working with as many talented artists as possible ala Gorillaz.

For the drums, it's Superior Drummer - Legacy Of Rock > Oyster Slightly Dry kit.

@anonymouse : oh wow, they sound fantastic, you mixed them well also

but i definitely thought about Gorillaz during the sung part, especially with the filter over the vocals. theres definitely some vocalists with dope voices who need someone like you to make the music, like Death Grips started that way in that genre. thats could be a great option if you find someone you have musical chemistry with (easier said than done i know)

but i wish you the best on your music journey man, i believe you can achieve that dream honestly

The kids making pancakes? It sounded just like waffles to me.

I like the track and your use of distortion works well for me, like spitting blood at Fâ—‡SOCIETY.

Yeah I can understand where your reasoning is coming from, I mean the inherent texture definitely suggest waffles, but if you listen closely the flatness of the overall spectrum betray the pancake situation. Pro tip from the kids: drop in the mix a complete apple and a few shakes of chocolade sprinkles.

    Hadn't occured to me :)

I see what you mean after analyzing it with my handy Acme Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT). I was wrong and am man enough to admit it. My apologies to the kids.
