Hey there,
i try for 3 hours now, to get Resolve to run.
I get no images.
No preview, no timeline nothing.

I started with the latest cracked Studio 18.6.6
But then removed everything, removed the files, deleted the Reg Keys.

Installed 18.6.6 free.
Installed Adrenalin Pro Drivers 22

Some guys suggested to deactivate the onboard Graphics.
Nothing works.

Does someone has a idea

OMG Finally !!!!

i Removed all drivers from the Windows Preferences.
Restart
Deactivated the Onboard AMD VGA
Installed the newest Adrenalin Edition for Gaming
Restart.
It works now.

Davinci can´t handle Multi VGA or Multi Monitor well.
So the unused Hardware needs to be deactivated in Windows Device Manager AND in Davinci

Resolve works just fine here with dual eizo calibrated monitors but then again I run an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti for just this purpose. It's not Resolve that has the issues it's more the AMD gfx card and drivers that are wonky. AMD gfx cards and video production are a bad mix. If you're seriously doing anything with video and/or still image production you might consider switching to an Nvidia GPU.

 

Everything works now
And definitely smoother than Premiere.
