its probably the same. they (plugin boutique) just made a separated item in their shop to kinda count the amount given, so they can negotiate the money with loopcloud

 

if i remember correctly, the LA2a freebie they did a while back was different than their actual LA2a plugins

thats just a different plugin all along (alongside of being one of the actual collection, not THE collection), with universal audio being the primary ones offering it as a freebie. here you have an offering tied-up to a third party that has to confirm the amount of licenses given, somewhat correlate with the amount that they have in their platform
