Looking for a portable stereo VST2/3 reverb Windows plugins

    I'm looking for alive releases (names) with good reverbs that are stereo and do not need keygens to be activated — just pure plugin file or ONE directory (no AppData mangling etc.). I think it's called cured tablet(?) or symlink install, however most if not all symlinks despite their portability have other directories that I have to manage to make the plugin work.

    I can only accept Windows registry keys files as "activators", as their content (entries) can be combined and if the key is somehow embedded in it, I can extract it and paste it inside other entries so I can activate anything at once.

    Imagine keygens working like it...

    Is there anything to fulfill my request?

    the ones in your DAW usually are good enough. unless you are in Ardour or so ...
    i would use these before i have to install anything.

    What is the reason, why you want something with using a keygen or an install?

    portable setup or just to lazy?

    OrilRiver is still great. Other good portable reverbs: DDMF Endless (copy paste the VST3 file). VoS epicClouds and epicPlate. Safari Pedals reverbs. Dragonfly reverbs.

    if you just want USB portables of VST plugins try these, I am not sure if this is exactly what you mean and are asking for but try these out

    - DReverb by Stone Voices is very good and free
    - Tone2 Nanohost is a great free host to make it portable (VST2 only unfortunately)
    I have both the above on a USB FlashDrive and it works

    there is also Hernann Seib's VSTHOST and SAVIHost both free which has VST2 + VST3 versions which may also work for your needs

    no he asked about portable reverb vst2/3 plugins for windows, not Hosts.

    symlink sounds like a great timesaver until you need an upgraded version of a plugin. you're forced to wait until whomever made the symlink packages makes a new package or uninstall the symlink and install the plugin normally, which completely invalidates any initial time saving

    ElephantDSP RoomReverb is a pretty solid one. It's simply all of the Dragonfly reverbs packed into one plugin, and with an updated UI. It did have some bugs in the last version that I'm not sure if they've fixed yet, but give it a shot.

    Most people create their own symlinks simply because they want to keep stuff organized, and have all of the plugins installed on an external drive. Yes, you need to install the plugins the regular way at first, but you can then move the files to an external drive if you create a symlink on your C: drive.

    If you don't want to do it manually through CMD or PowerShell, there are various tools that makes the procedure a bit more automated and quicker. For example, with Link Shell Extension you only have to right-click a file or folder and choose Pick link source on the original file/folder, then go to wherever you want the symlink to be placed, right-click and choose Drop as > Symbolic link or Drop as > Junction.

    sure. I'm not arguing that there are not reasons for using symlinks, just that convenience (and especially timesaving) are not on that list.
