I squeeze a little more out of Osirius by raising the buffer in the plugin and bouncing asap.

 

i have both the emulator and viper.. both i like viper more it sounds more (modern).. the viper FX section is amazing.. but honestly no one will know what you used in your song if you dont tell it... wheter its a roland juno, korg or yamaha specific synth..

 

It's being delayed because they feel like delaying it, how about that? They don't owe you anything,

I'm extremely grateful for every single person involved in that project all the way down to the theme creators. It beats every other soft synth, imo, if you know what you're doing with it. They've helped me take my music to the next level. They've worked extremely hard, spent countless hundreds of hours of their own time to give us something for free.

 

i might never buy an access virus synth.. i had the chance in 2018.. i never bought the virus snow.. many years ago i looked at it as its super special this hardware.. now much can be created with software.. yes i do love hardware.. its a choice i made. i have many accesss virus libraries for kontakt etc... ismt this synth now discontinued? yes virus c and virus ti are amazing.. but soon.. maybe in 2 years everything will be so good in software format we wont need the hardware virus.. i remember using nexus 2 in 2006.. this all has come a very long way ahead

i feel buying a virus now is unnecesary.. yes i can save money for months for it.. yes i can buy it
but YEAH!!! sometimes less is enough

 

I was asking opp why they assumed it was "being delayed", as if it was being intentionally delayed for some evil purpose.
My first line of reply was :
"OK. Tell us why it seems to you that they are dragging their feet."
Then I went through lengthy explanation, and looking over it all now it seems very clear that my last line of:
"So, why is it being delayed?", was just a prompt for opp to clarify his accusation.

It seems you skipped over all that if you interpreted my last line as being self-important or revealing entitlement, when the main of my post was contrary to that.
Perhaps in this you have failed miserably

In latest FL Beta, 1.3.10 VST3, crashes when i open the wrapper settings of FL.
In the latest stable FL, works great.

 

Buying virus has been unnecessary since the vst synths started getting decent and that was like 15 years ago atleast. You dont buy that synth for the sounds in my opinion, you buy it for the experience of having it there. Working with the knobs is the point for me.

Yeah it kind of still has a little bit of its own signature sound though but times have changed

 

anybody know where to find the rom files from the microwavext? i cant seem to find my backup copy i had from my original unit

 

you can download them directly from waldorf (unless the emu needs a weird format or something), same firmware as the II

 

those are only updates although.. same as II? i did see that somewhere i think
