I am thinking of uploading my track at spinnin demo pool.
I don't have much FB friends so could i expect some votes from Audioz members?
I have also created around 6,7 songs till now, If someone interested i would give him/her the links of best 3,4 tracks & i need to know the best one to upload.

I wasn't really familiar with 'spinnin demo' but went by there after reading your post. I'm curious, if you wanted to find a site like that for submitting material that was more along the lines of singer/songwriter stuff than EDM, where would people here look? (P.S. -- not trying to hijack your thread gompo, your post just got me curious about it. Hope yo don't mind).

1. If you want people to vote, make it easy for them! Presentation/layout is what catches your eye and then your ears follow. Don't make us look around. You provide, don't have anyone ask (for links)!

2. Put some other details. Where is that "demo (talent) pool" link? I don't see anything. What is this about? I figured it's some chart a label has put up to help pick out demos to pay attention to. But I had to look for it. And I'm still not sure whether I got the right content. I mean, I also found a video from 2012, some old announcements etc. Don't have to be so cryptic. It will be exposed eventually.

P.S. The kick in that dude's track that is first (Raf Z) is distorting and there's audible background noise.

could you please tell me which exact point are you talking about .

 

Yeah, but the problem is that most of the ppl you're gonna need to vote for you on that list won't listen that way.
They will play the track on some weak speakers while they're checking their messages, doin some pointless FB updates, searchin on youtube, eatin a snack, havin others running round and talkin in their house… probly all of this at the same time. That's why you need sth that stands out and hooks them fast if you wanna grab a lot of listeners.

 

the verse of wolfmonk is quite inspiring with layered drums and claps and the drop of Alius is huge and new too(for me ;) )
so i am quite confused with both of my songs.

and none of my track is mastered so in headphone the quality is not much good but in speakers they sounds bigger.

and Xsze , brother i am an engineering student so its quite difficult for me to understand the changes you want in my track, i am reading your comment again and again, but still confused, Sorry ,
(please try to be simple like change your verse and remove the vocal type sound and add more progression in the chords )

Over-effected? Over-processed? Over-crowded? I didn't say it was just the timbre/weight of the sounds. That was good enough. I meant it feels so processed and pushed that it ends up having nothing that pops out or defines a certain element. Everything's been pushed to sound very similar and fighting with anything else that's in its way. Most sounds feel "squeezed" (and kinda squashed). Imagine it like a voice in a bathroom, compared to a voice on a mountain (a lot of air to expand into and I don't mean [just] reverb by that, I'm referring to the general space/frequency spectrum you fill). Now, imagine 10 voices. Now, again, imagine a snare, a synth, a kick, a bass all with the same (pushed) compressor, peaking at the same amplitude and occupying very close-related frequencies. Like pushing a big foot into a small shoe. Or rather a few feet.

That 'Raf Z' track we talked about is way more spacious while still having some moderately heavy pocessing (it's used differently). Sure, maybe you were going for that uniformed sound but it doesn't sound like you were after this one. Anyway... Maybe more of a general statement. I don't want to push my taste down your throat.

What I find useful is to think if I'd want to fit a voice in there, would it fit? It's always a good measure for me to see if everything else is pushed too far.
