EQ Match to Reference Track of a Single Instrument Track?

    Do any of the EQ Match to Ref Tracks shine when used for a single instrument? I'm trying to get my guitar tone to match some favorite famous tones.

    Weren't you using Logic? The Wampler guy showed off Logic's Match EQ on isolated Foo Fighters guitars - sounded pretty good.

    Plenty options out there, they're all fine.

    As an alternative, this guy automatically generates IRs for guitar tones. https://jzir.gumroad.com/ - very much focused on metal though, check the spreadsheet linked.

    Yeah, got Logic and it works. Just wondering if anyone had better results elsewhere
