@Haze This computer served me well, I produced 12 albums on it, I can buy the same motherboard in China, but I have to take care of my parents first they are both old and sick, so I can choose to buy equipment or help my parents, I choose my parents. Cheers

Maybe this was a blessing for you. I mean, it might be a good opportunity to study. Nothing affects the way a person thinks like that. Download different music books and try to study as much as you can. You will see how much they help you in your future productions. People who are fond of studying, their productions will also be different, but if a person does not care about studying, he will produce boring works.

 

I can handle myself, but sometimes I have too much on my shoulders, it's been 8 years now this hell I suffer, I wrote about it a few years ago.

 

I know life is hard. It is hard for everyone. But in the end there is no other way, you have to continue and tolerate the problems.
Fortunately, music production is not like other productions that require a lot of facilities and capital. With a little creativity and experience, you can produce works. Many facilities are needed to be seen and famous, but not for production.
Unfortunately, many famous people do not study and are content with creating superficial works, and the main reason their works are heard is because of their fame, not the quality of their works.
You as a successful producer, better to study to increase the quality of your works. In this way, you may have little time for your production, but later you will realize how much those studies have changed your view of music and you will be able to find your way in music better.

I know your life is hard and you have many big and small problems that are really hard for you to bear. But there is no way to improve the level of music productions other than studying. Every day, if you spend an hour studying, at the end of the year, you will notice an increase in awareness and many changes. Studying is not like a snack. Studying is like the main meal, if you remove it from your life, your artistic life will be in danger. Not studying and only producing will not lead to outstanding works. I say this with full confidence. Anyway, it is up to you to choose your artistic path as you like.

 

It'll be fine, I still have my old computer with Linux, from which I am writing here. There's no Samplitude, Independence or Kontakt, but i've got Reaper there, next month I will think about what to do

 

how does a motherboard break? I've never had one break before. maybe you can write a simple letter to some big business in your area, tell them you are an artist, and asking them if they are going to throw away an old computer, if they would let you know. even small businesses throw away decent computers from time to time.

 

@livemouse Its dead, unfortunately I'm not in the US, no one cares here about a little artist like me, I will handle it alone, but that's in next month, I have a home to take care of, and I still pay off my parents' debts, because they were defraud by mafia.
