    Acoustic guitar sample/s? I say sample because it doesn't change in nuance like a real person strumming would over time, instead it's a snapshot of real playing repeated over and over (how sad).

    I don't know if it's an acoustic or an electric guitar, and how to play it to sound like that

    It's way mechanical and so not a human playing it, but to go in that direction I would only play down strokes using a 60 mm Tortex pick with a spuce topped and maple back and sides small bodied 00 sized guitar. Oh, and mix in the underside piezo pickup to taste with the small diaphragm mic your capturing the signal with. Then stack three compressors each knocking only a few dB each off the volume and then a transparent limiter. Here's a nickel to buy yourself a soda pop. I'd of put in my 2 cents, but with inflation and all....

    That's my boy... that's a steel-string acoustic guitar. Ancient technology, probably a VST or a chopped sample.
