is the audio transcoded, or does it pull from the OPUS file?. i still use yt-dlp because the audio is practically lossless when you rip from the HQ OPUS file. granted. you need to convert yourself from OPUS/webm to audio, but it takes about 5 seconds

Just a pity that, as you mentioned it converts the media instead of grabbing original content.
Conversion = Loosing Quality

 

For example look at JDownloader 2.
It letting you choose original media and grab it. Look at image under.
Conversion to MP4 Video or MP3 Audio etc. could be additional.
Or maybe this tool purpose isn't for Audio Production but a simply converter for Smartphone?
If this would be an APK for Android it will be cool.

 

i simple create it to download fast audio (mp3 format) just to download songs and put into my mp3 player ,
small and simple GUI for Youtube.dll for more advance stuff i can use Youtube.dll with a commands which i really don't need for my person usage
i can upload the source code if someone like to add many other feature

 

consider making this a open source project on github
