    Some people crack until they can buy. I own around half of mine + the DAW. And some plugins that are free or paid require an always online connection to the predatory iLok, so cracking makes more sense in that case.

    Also, say I rent an M1 and test the cracks out on that, its sure to work on the M2 and M3s as well, right? (because where I live, the M1 is more easily available)

    What is there to test? Why would you "rent" a Mac and then install a bunch of stuff on it? Would one even let you?

    Hello, there are numerous freeware options available that can provide everything you need.

    I might suggest Surge and Vital (a Serum killer), for instance. U-He Zebralette 3 is currently in Beta and is available for free download—an incredible synth. Kilohearts Essentials, Valhalla Super Massive, Valhalla Space Modulator, TDR and TAL are great FX options.


    Ultimately, the VSTs you possess are less important; acquiring a new, shiny VST / FX won't revolutionize your work. It's your skills, creativity, and knowledge that truly make a difference. That's the downfall of YouTube creators: they overhype VSTs, turning many into followers chasing the latest trend. Ignore the "this VST/FX changed my life" type of bullshit.

    Whats the difference between them and someone with a 4k PC gaming rig running the same cracked plugins? In fact that's even worse ;-)
