    Preferences -> Media -> Video.

    Make sure output is set to DS EVR if it wasn't already. Check if it plays fine now, if it doesn't, in order of increasing difficulty:

    - Install these Microsoft extensions from the Windows store: Web Media Extensions, AV1 Video Extension, VP9 Video Extensions, MPEG-2 Video Extension, HEVC Video Extensions (Device). Reset decoder priority to default.

    - Install VLC. Make "vlc" the first item in the "Video decoder priority" setting. Click "Show decoder information" to verify that Reaper has picked up your VLC installation, re-install VLC if necessary.

    - Install LAVFilters, make "dshow_depr" the first item in decoder priority. Verify with "Show decoder information".

    - Install FFMPEG for Reaper, make "ffmpeg" the first item in decoder priority. Verify with "Show decoder information". Download from here: https://github.com/GyanD/codexffmpeg/releases or https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/
