Hey guys, Im running the R2R Omnisphere on Win 10 and I was reading online that to permanently resize the vst window, you need to do it in the standalone app, which I seem to have deleted.

Would it be possible that a kind human is willing to upload the standalone file for me? I would like to try and resize my omnisphere window once and for all

 

I've never had the standalone installed and my Omnisphere remembers the size setting, assuming you are talking about the "Utility -> Magnify Window" setting. I'm using the VST3 if that makes any difference.

If it doesn't remember it for you I guess you could try setting it in the XML file here:

STEAM\Omnisphere\Defaults\User Settings.xml

The setting is:
<NVP NAME="Scale" VALUE="1.00" >

Suggest you stick to only using values listed in the Magnify menu so, eg, "Magnify 1.1x" would be "1.10" in the XML file, and make sure Omnisphere is not running when you change the file.

 

Verify the file AND folder rights too ...
May be none of the settings are saved, due to right limitations.

And try to run a DAW in Admin mode too, and tell us ;D
