About 50/50. While the medicine experience described in the song is personal, the "drug intake obligation" - addressed by the narrator - isn't. Meaning I made my own decisions upon taken them. However, at least where I live, it's common to see reports of overprescription as to "calm down" children.

...Deep and very emotional!

The drums gives a sensation of "ineluctability" and gravity, but at the same time the voice is not 100% serious, there is a (very) little part of derision and distance, and this aspect alone is really amazing, it makes your message... here I lack vocabulary (I'm not very fluent in English), it's just to say that your message pass better and stronger this way.

There will never be enough people and Artists like you to witness from the inside about problems like ADHD, autism... or any mental, genetic, physical or social problems, because (medical or not) institutions don't always treat the persons the way they should, because they simply don't understand the problems from the inside.

Many solutions that human societies found to "address" the difficulties... are no real solutions at all, this is just their way to bury the problems and to discharge responsibilities on someone or something else. Behind walls, treated with Magic Pills (TM), "problematic" persons become more or less invisible. Personally, I never believed in "magic pills"... not for the long term. But of course I can be wrong.

I tried to set an atmosphere of constant tension and undecidability, having the guitar softness to oppose the drums energy - and, before the chorus, to have it "impulsively" change the melody to a harsher pattern, to soothe again in the chorus... It's hard to put it into words!

Even if the institutions did understand, I feel that the buck will always have the leading tone.
It’s like you’ve been put to live within problems that have already been figured out - but you’ll have pretend no solution is near; and play along with the common sense.
