Hi guys,

I really need some help. I recently switched from PC to Mac. My current system is Mac Studio M2 with Ventura OS.

I have installed Kontakt 7.5 from our sister site but i am not able to add libraries, its asking me to use native access. I tried the KLU (Kontakt Library Utlity) but its giving error. All my libraries worked perfectly on PC. I have them on my external drive. How do i add them in kontakt 7?

I am adding my libs from an external drive to Kontakt via Kontakt 5.6.0
However - when I open up Kontakt 7.5.2 - no libs show up.

Can anyone tell me which rollback version of Kontakt to install in order to add libs properly, and then which version of Kontakt 7 to install so that it works in the latest verison of Logic?

Thank you so much - the app seems to help. However- It says I have 8 libs installed, but only 2 of them show up in my daw when I open Kontakt 7.10.1. IS there a more stable version of Kontakt 7 that will work with all current releases of Kontakt libs? Im using one cracked by HCiSo.

 

I'm using about the same stuff you are. Some libraries just don't show up (the ones with no .nicnt included) and I've come to accept that now. The problem isn't with Homecracker's Kontakt releases, so focus your attention elsewhere to solve it I guess.

 

Did they come with .nicnt files? If they do and are not showing up in Kontakt, try to remove those on KLU, then add them again. After that, you may try to restart your computer to see if they appear now. If it shows up but says missing samples or what not let me know, you may have to batch re-save.

I found the latest version of Kontakt quite difficult to navigate, and I rolled back to 7.5.2. This is because if I batch re=saved a bunch of libs at the latest version I'd be screweed if they dont load and then have to roll back. However- Libs are still not showing up. I batch re-saved one library which then showed in Kontakt, but without the picture and then only 1 bank of instruments showing in the library rather than all banks... Very confusing. Can I use KLU to REMOVE libs I've loaded into Kontakt? I've installed 8 previously using Kontakt 5 - only 2 of which show up in my DAW - it's all pretty frustrating...

 

And yes - Im only working with libs that have nicnt files.....

 

Yes, in KLU, under NICNT utilities tab, if you drag/navigate the library into KLU, it will say Install/Remove depending on whether it is installed or not. It will also show you what the PNG looks like if there's any. If there are missing photos then it will have missing photos. Just try to remove the 6 that aren't showing up, re-add them, then restart your computer in that order. If samples missing that's when you batch re-save.

Part of the problem was me not allowing full disk access to one of my external drives....now things are loading up and Im so relieved I can continue my numerous major projects. Blessings and thanks again.
