Updating Live 12

    Can we upload live to his new version from a legit installer and patch it with the R2R patch from 12.0 now? Without waiting someone upload a uddated crack?

    I discover with the new 12 R2R you can check "automatic updates" in pref and Live will always update to newer version. It works!

    Maybe you can in the R2R version, but I would not recommend ANYONE keep automatic updates on at all, and I wouldn't even be online for a second for it to 'check' when using my stuff for many reasons...

    For me it does not update, it downloads a second live 12 data register but nothing updates on reboot. Can you explain to me how you did it?

    I agree to never put on auto update. Some plugins might call home through it as well. That said I'm wondering what the benefit or the R2R version is over the Audiowarez version. Does anyone find one more stable or faster or has more problems with one or the other?
