I have the latest version of EzMix2 installed and when I run the Standalone version, it says ver.#2.2.4. and all the packs work fine.
When I try to use it as a VST in Reaper on a track, I get all the error messages that certain packs require later versions and when I go to the About tab it says that the version I am using is #2.1.4.
How do I get it to read that I have the latest version installed?

You probably did not remove it cleanly before upgrading. If I was on Windows, I would remove it with Revo and reinstall it. It's very good at finding remnants of prior installs.

 

It's probably what @clone said. You had v2.1.4 installed before installing v2.2.4 and somehow you kept the old vst instead of the new.

I just checked just in case since and mine says 2.2.4 loaded in Studio One.

The good news from what you say is probably you only need the vst2 file.
That can not be asked here, perhaps by other means of communication...

I also asked this on the Reaper forum and was given this answer.

And see if you have multiple plugin files in different locations.

If it's a vst3 then it should be in the folder Program files/common files/vst3. If there is a later dated .vst3 somewhere then move it into that folder overwriting the existing one.

If it's a vst2 it can be anywhere but Reaper needs to be looking in that path which you can set in prefs/plugins/vst.

But again if you have multiple versions copy the later dated one over the old one."

I had the program "Everything" and it found 3 older dll files that I was able to delete and then I reinstalled the latest version and now it works fine.

It's a VST2 (EZmix.dll). As far as I know there's still no vaccined VST3 version.

The good side is that you can check the version of the .dll easily using right click->properties->Details TAB
