Is it just for me DuckDuckGo isn't working? The website shows and everything, but all searches come back with "There was an error displaying the search results. Please try again."

Tried with different browsers, on my phone, and done everything I can think of. It's been like this since yesterday.

 

DDG relies on the Bing API for it's search results which also happens to be down.

I spoke too soon :D I pulled a couple of successful searches and then it failed again.

 

They have to adjust the "not spying - spying systems"

 

What better way to have users voluntarily funnel all suspicious activity, so that it does not mix with all the other google traffic?

Yep, DuckDuckGo is down, Startpage also not 100% working, as well as Bing.

 

My money is on @SAiNT and @No Avenger teaming up to blow off some steam from these hard past weeks. I mean, can't blame them.
But I'll do it anyways. Guys... don't go so cowboy. Leave something working... pls? At least PornHub and Tinder...

PS. It's okay if you nuke KVR and Steven Slate's site...

Foster finally broke the internet.

 

As a temporary measure, add a search engine to your browser with a keyword, I use just "g", and add

Code:

{google:baseURL}/search?udm=14&q=%s

As the search string... goes straight to web results and skips the google AI bullshit. It's good enough for me to use once or twice a year!

 

it's been clunky today, but seems it works right now

 

good thing I downloaded the entire internet last night. everytime I try to back it up to the cloud, something breaks for somebody..

 

It works for the past 4 hours here. It was down earlier. I thought something was wrong with my PC and Phone until I saw that Bing and other services down on the twitter trend list.

 

Saw some article about it online earlier. Seemed to suggest some Microsoft outage had taken down Bing and DuckDuckGo or something like that.
