    Just grabbed F9 Snares.
My assumption was I could load this up in Kontakt (and in reaper) to use for getting that snare sound I have been searching for, for my kits in SD3 and Mixwave.

But I dont see how we trigger these snares. I can load them up, but there are no outputs (the only spot I see to change the output is the top menu, so maybe this is correct.
But the main issue is how to trigger them, I dont see a way to midi map these. Is this not how this package works?

Hard to tell without knowing how you set this up or what the problem is.

Is this all on one track? If so, make Mixwave listen to MIDI channel 1 (default) and F9 to MIDI channel 2 inside Kontakt. Look near the top of the instruments where it says MIDI Ch: [A] 1. If you can't see MIDI Ch, click on the i next to the camera symbol on the instrument. Then change the channel for your snare notes to channel 2 in Reaper's MIDI editor. Or alternatively use the JSFX "MIDI Route Note to Channel" before Kontakt. Or use a third party plugin to do the same.

If you're using SD and Kontakt on the same track, you might have to change the "I/O -> MIDI output" settings in Reaper (the bar above the plugins) and set them to "Merges with MIDI bus" instead of "Replaces MIDI bus". While you're at it, make Kontakt pass-thru MIDI in Kontakt>Options>Engine>Send MIDI to outside world.

If you're just playing the wrong note... well...!
