Found only loopmix and shaperbox for now

 

NI Intakt, discontinued but available in the aftermarket. like the sister site.

also EMUlatorX ver3 - also discontinued but available in the wild. last version - by EMU after they were bought by CreativeLabs.
its 64bit and doesn't require registration, which is good since Creative Labs shut down the registration server in 2020..

RipX or Fuse Audio Labs DrumsSSX first in some cases. Izotope Breaktweaker and Stutter Edit. Serato Sample. Acusonus Regroover Pro and Rythmiq, UVI Drum Replacer, Logic Remix FX, are some I might use.

I find this a weird question. I think I get what you mean, in that you are asking for a specific plugin to do it for you, like Sugar Bytes' Effectrix or Illformed Glitch, for example. However, the way I see it, a modern day producer is pretty much all about manipulating and changing loops/sounds, and by that I mean ones you record yourself, and resample in-DAW etc too, not just using off the shelf loops. It's all about how you flip them. If you just learn the skills you won't need specifi one-clikc kinda plugins you don't have much control over.

This is a weird one. But i like the loop presets in loopcloud. You can chop a loop up and save that preset and use it on any other audio loop. Sometimes I will put in songs i like and copy patterns from them and save them as presets and use them on my loops.

 

search KVR forum for emulatorx3 they will have a link. let me know if you can't find it..

You do not want the "KVR version". There is an R2R version which removed web verification to a server that no longer exists.

E-MU Emulator X3 v3.0.0 WiN FULL-R2R. is the release title. I'm not sure how it applies to the topic, as it is just another sampler.

You are correct about the r2r release..btw, its about 54mb, its the 32bit and 64bit versions in one file. it says its from 2008, haven't figured out which build it is, i haven't installed it yet.

The one I have installed is -author unknown..

sept 14 2008. no registration needed. I don't know if its the r2r repackaged, there was no authorship in the notes..

it is a sampler and an synth, and it has lots of synthy fx, lfo's, waveforms, filters, chorus. I'm still digging through it I'm playing with the Mo Phatt library right now.

just got the r2r version. i'll have to compare. the releases

The one I have installed was the entire x3 cd as an ISO file. I had to mount and install it and run a registry patch, but it was very simple.. - much bigger though about 300mb, but did include the manuals etc.. been running for months with no problems, plays nice with my arturia keylab controller...

 

i examined the install files from my copy and from r2r, they are the same files, so somebody re-released it without the R2r information.

 

That would make sense somewhere like KVR. They might call it "warez" just because it is from R2R. I think it was never actually sold, it was just included with the soundcards.

 

therer's an interesting plugin from phil Speiser called the_stutter, its only 9.99$ right now and it looks cool. I've been trying to buy but it won't recognize my email address (proton mail) i emailed support and asked them to fix it so I could buy , but no luck yet. I may have to create a new email just to buy it. - anyhow he has some videos on his site that gives a nice overview..
