Waves Plugins Going 64 bit

    i called waves tec support lest week and asked them when they are going to be 64 bit and he posed for a secant and then he said by the first of the year which surprised me because they usually
    say they are working on it and they cant say when bla bla bla so by 2012 they will be 64 bit which wont help protools users but us cubase 6 mac users it will be grate...unless protools 10 is going to be 64 bit which i would not be suppressed so just thought i would share the INFO :grooves:

    So that will be together with the Protools 10 release.

    PT 10 has the new AAX format plugin. There are 64 bits ready.
    So I don't think waves will release RTAS 64 bits but AAX 64 bits.. So, PT10 users will can use them waiting the PT 64 bits release.

    They work together. I'm sure they'll release AAX..... And then tell everyone not to buy VST3 as AAX is somuch more versatile.... I'm sure.
    Waves 7 & 8 are hacked so they look for any or all protection they can get...
