BPB has released Cassette 909, a free Roland TR-909 drum machine sample library with a twist. The clean output of this legendary drum machine has been recorded to a CrO2 audio cassette, adding a layer of noise and grit to the iconic 909 drum sound. The processed samples were recorded to an audio cassette at two different gain settings, resulting in two separate kits with a different lo-fi flavor.

The library features over 150 drum samples in 24-bit WAV format. All included samples are normalised to -0.1 dB and edited carefully to avoid any pops and clicks. The included sounds are 100% royalty free.
