Curious to know if all the above Massive users are using the original or X (the original, I suppose).
(While I really think Massive X has a great sound, its laggy gui and other quirks just put me off completely).

 

Give me Massive X, Zebra, Reaktor, and Kontakt, and a DAW with some basics like... recording and MIDI, maybe a reverb and delay. I'm all set then.

Sure there's more that I like and use often, but hey, it was supposed to be a minimal list!

 

This has got to be the hardest screen print I've ever taken.

 

As a young, novice sound designer. I gave Massive X about ten minutes and went back to the original Massive and downloaded some more preset banks.

1. Old Massive
2. Omnisphere, even with it's Steam folder annoyance.
3. Addictive Drums
4. Geist 2
5. OsTIrus... orgasmic pad machine.
6. Valhalla ... they deserve a Nobel Dub prize.
7. Liquidsonics Reverberate .. plus King Tubby IR's.

10. Serum (partly because of the Test Press Ambient Jungle pack)
