I'm not sure how the band Heatmiser slipped through my fingers for 33 years. It was Eliott Smith's first band before he went solo. Others in the group were Neil Gust, Brandt Peterson and Tony Lash. I like all the songs that I heard on their album Cop And Speeder and will dive into the others as time permits.

And for those who don't know who Elliot Smith is I put one of his songs underneath so you can check out one of his unique genius, bent but accessible tunesmith songs.

Hi, I'm a new poster but been following this forum forever and love this thread.

My biggest ever wow moment was last year when visiting family in London. We happened into a music venue named the Dublin Castle and playing were an British Indie-Rock band named Doctor Freighter. They played a very high energy and emotional set that I wish I had recordings of. Lead singer I swear was the spitting image of Luke Pritchard from the Kooks.

I have only been able to find the following poor quality video of one of their tracks named Euthoria which I remember as being absolutely incredible on the night. If anyone happens to find links to a better quality version or knows anything further about the band; please let me know.
